Mattress removal across Fairfield, Cabramatta and Canley Vale is a flat $80 each, any size, any condition. We're about twenty minutes away from our Bankstown yard, so this area sits well inside our regular runs.
Multi-mattress jobs are the norm
Households here tend to be larger, often multi-generational, which means more beds per property. When a household reorganises — someone moving out, a room being converted, a long-overdue upgrade — it's usually several mattresses at once rather than one.
Mattress pickup is $80 each, one trip, no minimum and no bulk complication. Four beds is $320, collected from the kerbside in one visit.
Access is straightforward
Most properties here are single-storey. Please arrange for mattresses to be safely placed outside at the kerbside before pickup; our team does not collect from garages, carports or inside homes.
The older walk-up blocks around Fairfield and Cabramatta stations mean stairs. Please arrange help getting the mattresses safely downstairs and out to the kerbside before pickup; our team does not carry items on stairs or from apartments.
Fairfield City Council rules
Fairfield City Council runs booked bulky collections with annual limits per household. Items may only go on the nature strip once you've booked a specific date — anything else is illegal dumping and it's fineable.
This matters here. Illegal dumping is policed hard across South West Sydney, with camera programs in known hotspots, and Fairfield in particular has run active enforcement campaigns. A dumped mattress with a delivery label or anything identifying attached is straightforward to trace back to a household. What the penalties look like.
The annual cap also catches larger households out — a four-mattress job can consume a whole year's allocation. More on council collections. To compare council collection with drop-off, donation and a booked pickup, see mattress disposal in Sydney: every option and what it costs.
What it costs
$80 flat per mattress, single to super king, any condition including stained or damaged. Kerbside collection only, no size surcharge, no call-out fee, no fuel levy.
While we're there
- Fridge or chest freezer — $80 for a small–medium unit, $150 for a large one. Second fridges and garage freezers are common out here.
- Old TVs and computers — from $80 for a TV ($150 for a large one), and a flat $80 per load for computers and other electronics. Keep them out of your household bins — anything with a battery can start a fire in the garbage truck (what NSW rules actually say about e-waste in the bin).
- An old sofa or armchair — armchair $80, 2–3 seater $180, 4–5 seater or modular $300, in the same trip.
- A car that hasn't moved in years — one of our busier areas for car removal.
