Mattress, Car, Fridge & E-Waste Removal — Inner West Sydney
From Newtown terraces to Marrickville warehouses, we collect mattresses, sofas, appliances, electronics and cars across the Inner West. Fixed price up front, kerbside-only collection for household items, and it all goes to a recycler.
Suburbs we cover
Newtown, Enmore, Erskineville, Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, Petersham, Stanmore, Camperdown, Lewisham, Leichhardt, Annandale, Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Haberfield, Ashfield, Summer Hill, Croydon, Burwood, Strathfield, Concord, Five Dock and Drummoyne.
We run out of a yard in Bankstown, so the Inner West is a short trip — it's one of the areas where we can most often do a same-day pickup if you book early.
What we collect here
🛏️ Mattresses — $80 flat, any size
The Inner West runs on share houses and student rentals, which means mattresses turn over constantly. Any size, any condition including soiled or damaged, and you don't need to be home. Book a mattress pickup →
🛋️ Sofas & lounges — from $80
Armchairs $80, 2–3 seaters $180, 4–5 seaters and modulars $300. We collect it from the kerbside and recycle what we can. Book a sofa pickup →
❄️ Fridges, freezers & washing machines — from $80
Fridges, bar fridges and chest freezers — $80 small–medium, $150 large — degassed under licence before the metal is recycled. Common in the old terraces around Petersham and Dulwich Hill where a second fridge lives in the back room. Washing machines are $80 too. Book an appliance pickup →
🚗 Cars — quoted on the vehicle
Running or not, registered or not. Tight Inner West streets are no problem — we've towed plenty out of rear lanes and off narrow terrace frontages. Whether we pay you for it or simply remove it depends on the car, and we'll tell you honestly which. Get a car quote →
💻 Electronics & e-waste — $80 flat per load
TVs, monitors, computers, laptops, printers and cables, all to licensed recyclers. NSW doesn't have a statewide ban on binning e-waste (Victoria does), but it shouldn't go in any household bin — anything with a battery can start a fire in the garbage truck (what the law actually says). Preparing for an Inner West collection
Mattresses, sofas, appliances and e-waste must be ready at the kerbside before collection. We do not lift or carry household items from inside homes, apartments or down stairs. Collections run Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm.
A few things that help us quote accurately the first time:
- Have household items ready at the kerbside before we arrive; arrange any help you need to move them there
- Confirm the kerbside pickup location so we can plan access
- Flag resident-only parking zones so we can plan the stop
- For apartment blocks in Ashfield, Burwood or Strathfield, follow building rules when arranging to move items to the kerbside; we do not collect from inside the building
Council rules worth knowing
The Inner West spans Inner West Council, Burwood, Strathfield and City of Canada Bay, and each runs its own booked bulky-waste service. The rule that catches people out is the same everywhere: you can only put items on the nature strip once you've booked a collection for a specific date. Putting a mattress or fridge out any other time can be treated as illegal dumping and fined — and in dense terrace streets it gets reported quickly.
Council collections are also limited per year, cap how much you can put out, and often won't take fridges without conditions. If you've used your allocation or you need it gone this week, a booked pickup is the simpler path.
What we don't collect
We're specialists, not a general removal service. No dryers, dishwashers, ovens, air conditioners, or furniture other than sofas and lounges. If it's a mattress, a sofa, an appliance, electronics or a car — we're the right call.
