Start with a realistic description

Write down the make, model, year, registration status and known faults. Note whether it starts, whether the keys are available and where it is parked. Photographs of the vehicle and access help a prospective buyer or collection provider assess it. Describe known conditions without moving an unsafe vehicle to test them.

Option 1: Sell privately

A private sale may suit a car with a usable life left, or a buyer interested in repairing it. Compare realistic offers rather than relying on advertised prices for similar cars. Allow for advertising, inspections, any repairs you choose to make and your time.
