Mattress Removal Ryde, Eastwood & Macquarie Park — Flat $80

Mattress removal across Ryde, Eastwood and Macquarie Park is a flat $80, any size, any condition. Three quite different housing types sit next to each other here, and each needs something different from you when you book.
Macquarie Park: student housing and towers
Macquarie University drives a hard annual cycle. Purpose-built student accommodation and the surrounding rentals turn over almost completely in late February and again around July, and mattresses are the main casualty.
For student accommodation and newer residential towers, arrange any service lift and building access needed to have mattresses safely placed outside at the kerbside before pickup. Many buildings restrict removals to weekday business hours.
If several rooms are moving out at once, book them together — all mattresses ready outside at the kerbside, one visit, $80 each.
Eastwood and Ryde: family homes
Established freestanding homes with driveways and side access, and mostly double-storey with bedrooms upstairs. Straightforward jobs, and often multi-mattress ones as households reorganise.
Please arrange for mattresses to be safely placed outside at the kerbside before pickup. We do not collect from inside homes or carry from driveways or stairs.
West Ryde and Meadowbank: mixed
Older walk-ups mixed with newer apartment developments along the river. For walk-ups, arrange suitable help to have mattresses safely moved outside to the kerbside before pickup; stair carrying is not included.
Council rules
This area falls mainly under City of Ryde, with parts near Epping and Carlingford straddling City of Parramatta and Hornsby. If you're near a boundary, check which council your address actually falls under before relying on a council collection — their rules and allocations differ.
Everywhere, the same principle: items go on the nature strip only once you've booked a collection for a specific date. Otherwise it's illegal dumping and it's fineable. In student-heavy areas councils watch for exactly this each semester. More on council collections.
What it costs
$80 flat per mattress, single to super king, any condition. Kerbside collection, no size surcharge, no call-out fee. Several at once is $80 each in one trip.
Fridge going too? From $80 ($150 for a large one) — very common at the end of a student lease, since most rentals here come unfurnished. Old laptops and screens? We collect e-waste across this corridor too.
