Wherever you live, arrange for the mattress to be ready at kerbside before collection.
If you're in a tower
When arranging to move your mattress from a tower to kerbside, check building management requirements, including:
- A service lift booking through building management, often restricted to weekday business hours
- Loading dock access confirmed, including any vehicle height limit
- No staging in common areas — most strata schemes prohibit leaving items in the foyer or corridor
Arrange any lift or loading dock booking needed to bring the mattress down yourself, then book our kerbside pickup. We do not enter apartments or carry items through the building.
If you're in a house
The houses around Chatswood, Willoughby, Artarmon and Roseville bring a different set of considerations: long driveways, split-level entries, and sometimes a decent walk from where a truck can stop to where the mattress actually is.
Please arrange any help needed to move the mattress from the house or along the driveway to kerbside before collection. We do not collect from inside homes, front doors or driveways.

North Shore houses have more bedrooms, which means we do a lot of two-, three- and four-mattress collections in this area — kids moving out, guest rooms being redone, or a whole-house bed upgrade. Each one is $80, all in the same trip.
Willoughby Council rules
Chatswood falls under Willoughby City Council, which runs a booked bulky collection with an annual cap. As everywhere in Sydney, items may only go on the nature strip once a collection is booked for a specific date — anything else is illegal dumping and fineable.
For apartment residents, the booking usually goes through the building manager rather than individual tenants, which is the main reason tower residents book private pickups instead. More on council collections.
