Mattress Removal Castle Hill & The Hills District — Flat $80
Updated
Share
Mattress removal across The Hills District is a flat $80 each, any size, any condition. Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Kellyville and Rouse Hill are large-home territory, so almost every job here involves more than one bed.
Four and five bedroom houses
The Hills has some of the biggest average dwellings in Sydney, and that changes the shape of the work. When a household here reorganises — kids finishing school and moving out, a guest room being converted to a study, a long-overdue whole-house upgrade — it's three or four mattresses at once, not one.
Pricing stays simple: mattress pickup is $80 each, one trip, no minimum and no bulk complication. Four beds is $320, collected from the kerbside in one visit.
Access is generally easy
Collection is kerbside only. Please arrange for mattresses to be safely placed outside at the kerbside before pickup; our team does not carry items from inside homes, on stairs or from apartments.
Two things worth mentioning when you book:
- The kerbside collection point — arrange for any upstairs mattresses to be safely brought down before pickup
- Truck access to the kerbside collection point — some of the newer estates have long driveways or shared access lanes
For newer apartment developments around Castle Towers, Norwest and the Metro stations, arrange any lift booking and help moving the mattresses safely to the kerbside before pickup.
The Hills Shire Council rules
The Hills Shire Council runs booked bulky collections with an annual limit per household. Items only go out once you've booked a specific collection date — anything else is illegal dumping and fineable.
The annual cap is what catches Hills households out, because a multi-bed job can consume a whole year's allocation in one go. If you've got four mattresses and a couple of other bulky items, you may well need both collections plus another solution anyway. More on council collections. While we're there
Two things we're regularly asked to take at the same time out here:
- The garage fridge or chest freezer — from $80 ($150 for a large one). Double garages mean second fridges, and an old one in a hot Hills garage costs real money to run. Here's how much.
- Old TVs and computers — TVs from $80 ($150 for a large TV); computers $80 flat per load. Keep them out of your household bins — anything with a battery can start a fire in the garbage truck (what NSW rules actually say about e-waste in the bin).
Replacing a lounge at the same time? We take sofas and armchairs in the same trip — armchair $80, 2–3 seater $180, 4–5 seater or modular $300.
Nearby suburbs we cover
Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, Norwest, Kellyville, North Kellyville, Rouse Hill, Beaumont Hills, Glenhaven, Dural, Cherrybrook, West Pennant Hills, Winston Hills and Northmead.
