Here are our 2026 Sydney prices, in full, with no minimum load and no call-out fee:
- Mattress — $80 flat. Any size, any condition.
- Sofa or lounge — from $80. Armchair $80, 2–3 seater $180, 4–5 seater or modular $300.
- Fridge or freezer — from $80. $80 small–medium, $150 large, degassed under licence.
- Washing machine or TV — from $80. $80 for a washing machine or small–medium TV, $150 for a large TV.
- Car — quoted on the vehicle. Sometimes we pay you, sometimes it's a removal fee.
- Electronics and e-waste — $80 flat per load for a normal household amount.
- Full truckload of bulky items — $1,000 per load. Mattresses, sofas and appliances.
That's it. Below is what those numbers mean, when a full truckload works out cheaper than paying per item, and what to check before accepting a cheaper-looking quote from anyone.
Mattress removal: $80 flat
A flat $80 per mattress — single through to super king, any condition including soiled, torn or water damaged.
Multiple mattresses are $80 each in the same trip, so a share house with three beds to go pays $240 and it's done in one visit.
What we don't charge for: size, condition, call-out, or fuel. Collection is kerbside only; customers arrange for items to be outside before pickup. Full comparison of your mattress options here.
Sofa removal: from $80
Priced by size rather than by load: $80 for an armchair, $180 for a 2–3 seater, and $300 for a 4–5 seater or modular lounge. Please arrange for it to be outside at the kerbside before pickup; we load it from there.
Two pieces in one trip are simply priced per piece, so a 2–3 seater and an armchair together are $260. Book a sofa pickup.
Fridge and freezer removal: from $80
$80 for a small–medium unit, like a 45-litre bar fridge, and $150 for a large one, like a 600-litre French-door — both degassed under licence.
Whoever you book, check the quote includes licensed degassing, not just the lift.
Two or three units in one trip are simply priced per unit. More on how fridge disposal works.
Car removal: it depends, and here's why
This is the one that can't have a fixed price, because the value genuinely varies. An end-of-life car is worth its salvageable parts plus the weight of its metal, set against the cost of collecting and processing it.
You're more likely to be paid when: the car is heavy, the model is common, the engine and gearbox are still in it, the catalytic converter is present, and it's easy to reach.
You're more likely to pay a removal fee when: it's a light car, stripped of major components, severely rusted, fire or flood damaged, or somewhere a truck can't easily get to.
Scrap steel prices also move globally, so the same car is honestly worth different amounts in different months. Send us the rego, or the make, model and year, and we'll tell you which side you're on before anything is booked. Here's how that works in detail.
E-waste: $80 flat per load
A normal household amount of computers, monitors, laptops, printers, phones and cables is a flat $80 per load, in one pickup. Old TVs are from $80 ($150 for a large TV).
Very large loads are priced separately, and we confirm the price before we come. More on e-waste disposal.
The hidden fees to check for
If you're comparing quotes, a lower headline number often isn't lower. Ask specifically about:
- Call-out or truck fees added on arrival
- Minimum load charges — common with general operators, so one mattress gets priced as a quarter load
- Stair or long-carry surcharges introduced when the driver sees the stairs
- Size surcharges for a king mattress or a large fridge
- Fuel levies
- Weekend or after-hours loading
- "Assessment on arrival" — the phrase that means the quote isn't a quote
Our $80 mattress price is $80. Our fridge price is $80 for a small–medium unit and $150 for a large one, stated up front.
How this compares to doing it yourself
If you have a ute or trailer, dropping items off yourself costs a gate fee. Two examples (checked 28 Sep 2026):
| Item | Drop-off fee | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Mattress | $54 each | Soft Landing, 29 Chifley Street, Smithfield (card only; prices as of 1 July 2026) |
| Mattress | $60 each (max 6 per customer) | Kimbriki (price list from 1 July 2026) |
| Fridge or freezer | $32 per unit (no charge with proof of degassing) | Kimbriki |
On top of the gate fee, add vehicle hire and fuel if you don't own a suitable vehicle, a second person for the lifting, and a couple of hours. For one mattress, most of the gap to our $80 is your time and transport.
The genuinely cheapest option is a booked council collection, which is usually free within your annual allocation — as long as you can wait for the date, you can carry it to the kerb, and your council accepts the item. Here's what councils will and won't take.
Per item or full truckload?
Most jobs are cheapest per item. Our full truckload of bulky items is $1,000 (mattresses, sofas and appliances together), so it only starts to make sense once the per-item total gets close to that:
- 12 mattresses at $80 each come to $960, still just under the truckload price.
- 3 mattresses, a 2–3 seater, a modular lounge, a large fridge and a washing machine come to $240 + $180 + $300 + $150 + $80 = $950.
- A mattress and a small–medium fridge come to $160, nowhere near it.
Once your per-item total goes past $1,000, ask about the truckload instead. Not sure which works out better? Call 0428 01 01 01 or send us photos and we'll tell you.
Why we don't quote "half loads" and "quarter loads"
Load-based pricing exists for mixed jobs where nobody knows what's in the pile. We collect specific things — mattresses, sofas and lounges, appliances (fridges, freezers, washing machines and TVs), e-waste and cars — so we can price them individually and tell you the number before we arrive. Our only load price is the full truckload above, and that's a fixed $1,000, not an estimate.
It also means we won't try to sell you a load you don't need. One mattress costs $80, not a minimum quarter-truck.
