E-Waste Collection North Sydney, Chatswood & St Leonards
Updated
Share
North Sydney, St Leonards and Chatswood form one of Sydney's densest office corridors, and they produce corporate e-waste on a predictable cycle. We collect it — desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, networking gear, printers and screens — plus the residential e-waste from the towers next door.
Arrange items for kerbside pickup
Recycle Corp provides kerbside collection only. Arrange for your staff or a suitable mover to bring items outside at the kerbside before pickup. For that internal move, check your building’s requirements:
- Loading dock booking, often days ahead, with a height limit not every truck clears
- Goods or service lift booking, frequently restricted to specific hours
- Contractor induction or certificate of currency, required in some commercial buildings
- Security sign-in, sometimes with an escort
Tell us the building, kerbside collection location, vehicle access and permitted collection times when you request the quote.
Do the data before the logistics
The hardware is worth almost nothing. The data is the actual risk.
- Build the asset list before anything moves — serial or asset tag for every device. You can't certify destruction of something you never recorded.
- Catch the invisible storage. Multifunction printers and copiers hold scanned documents on internal drives. So do many conference systems, networking appliances and camera recorders. These are the ones that get missed.
- Wipe and deauthorise while devices are still in your control, and do it as machines come out of service rather than all at once at the end.
- Decide the standard — software wiping for most business data, physical destruction with a certificate for anything regulated or genuinely sensitive.
- Remove asset tags and branding before disposal.

Licensed recycling and your reporting
NSW doesn't have a statewide ban on binning e-waste (Victoria does), but it shouldn't go in any bin — anything with a battery can start a fire in the garbage truck. What the law actually says. For an organisation, the sensible standard is a disposal chain that ends at a licensed recycler, and you should be able to demonstrate that it did.
We can supply certificates of recycling for ESG reporting, tender responses or internal compliance. Request them when you book so they're arranged from the start.
Residential too
The apartment towers around North Sydney, Chatswood and St Leonards have the same problem as any high-rise: no nature strip, no council collection you can book yourself, and strata rules prohibiting items in common areas. Old TVs are the usual item. More on TV disposal.
What we take
TVs, monitors, desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, servers, racks, networking equipment, printers, UPS units, cables, chargers and power boards — any condition, broken included.
Plus fridges and freezers at $80 for a small–medium unit or $150 for a large one, which covers office kitchen fridges and the drinks fridge on every floor.
Sofas, lounges and armchairs can go in the same trip. We don't take desks, office chairs, filing cabinets or partitions.
What it costs
A normal household amount is a flat $80 per load; bigger office loads are quoted from photos and we confirm the price before we come — volume, weight and kerbside access are what drive it. Old CRTs and large panels are the heavy items. No call-out fee, and the price doesn't change on the day.
Areas we cover
North Sydney, Milsons Point, McMahons Point, Crows Nest, St Leonards, Artarmon, Naremburn, Chatswood, Willoughby, Lane Cove, Gore Hill, Wollstonecraft and Waverton.

We operate Monday to Friday, 6am–4pm. Arrange for the items to be outside at the kerbside before the agreed pickup time.
We've only got a few laptops.
Fine — that's within a normal household amount, so it's a flat $80 per load.
